A kettle bell swing is a movement in which you stand with your feet shoulder width apart and place the weight in both hands resting level with the top of your thigh. Bend your knees, and with force send the weight above your head.

As you continue the stride, momentum will build, making it easier to lift. Continuing the motion for minutes at a time make for a great cardio and strength workout. kettle bell swings can be very beneficial in muscle tone and stamina building if you are willing to branch out of your comfort zone and try something different.

In your twenties, it’s really hard to make it to that certain workout class at the really bad time that conflicts with your meeting or conference call. Instead of completely skipping your workout, make time for a quick at home workout.

Complete 2 Rounds-

  • 50 jumping jacks
  • 25 push ups
  • 25 burpees
  • 50 high knees
  • 50 squat jumps
  • 25 sit ups
  • 25 leg raises
  • 50 dips
  • 50 second plank
  • 25 jumping lunges
  • 25 tuck jumps
  • 50 mountain climbers

This workout can be done in the comfort of your own home, and you will be sweaty by the time you finish. I time myself when I complete this workout. It took me 12 minutes and 27 seconds to complete the last time I did it. This workout took less than fifteen minutes of my time. If you ever feel like your life is too “on the go,” this workout is definitely for you.

If you know you can do anything a man can do, and probably better, so you have muscles, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

The purpose of my outreach to women is to promote women to love themselves enough to be healthy. I am not encouraging you to change yourself. I am encouraging self love and overall good physical and mental health. Every woman’s end result will be different. Lose 10 Pounds in 7 Days

I have found that detoxes can be a boost to shed the pounds and body fat, while also giving your body the nutrients and vitamins it deserves. I have completed this seven day detox challenge many times over the past six years for quick fixes, such as squeezing into a dress for an event or getting ready for bikini season.

Day 1- Eat any kind of fruit you want, except bananas.

Day 2- Eat any type of vegetable, raw or steamed. You can have one potato on this day.

Day 3- Combine fruit and vegetables. Eat as much as you want, without the potato.

Day 4- Eat only bananas and yogurt.

Day 5- Eat chicken, turkey, and as many as 6 tomatoes.

Day 6- Eat chicken and turkey with any vegetables you want, except a potato.

Day 7- Treat yourself to the miracle soup! 

Weigh yourself on day one, and do not weigh yourself again until day seven.

Coffee- a dieter’s best friend

In previous blogs, I discussed the importance of a well balanced diet, and the importance of not overeating. There is most likely a strong chance that in attempt to cut back on food, your stomach will want more to be in it. You may even suffer from minor migraines .

Your fix and answer to all your hunger and headache worries is a strong cup of coffee. No, I did not say a french vanilla latte without whip cream. Your cup of coffee needs to consist of mainly coffee, soy milk or almond milk, and sugar free sweetener if necessary.

Try to have one cup in between breakfast and lunch. Sometimes, I have a cup in between lunch and dinner to maintain my hunger as well.

If your headache’s continue, make sure you are eating all food groups equally and consider consulting your doctor for further information or additional medication.
